Streaks that typically do not go around the whole cylinder circumference. This phenomenon occurs when foreign particles, burrs from low quality blades or ink is collected on top of the doctor blade.
Causes
- Burr forming on blade tip
- Ink or foreign particles build up on blade tip
- Viscosity is too slow
